With the Labor Day holiday coming up, and our community buzzing with back to school activities we want to take a minute and encourage our neighbors here in Marysville to donate help make sure that our children have the supplies they need for the 2015-2016 school year. Snohomish County is a great place to live and we want to help encourage our youth by providing them with the best possible tools for learning. Bud’s will be making our own donation to the district for them to buy necessary supplies and encourage you to do so as well. We are happy to collect small or large amounts of actual supply donations here and deliver them for you. We know that it’s not always easy to catch someone during summer hours and would love to be the middle man for such a generous transaction. Each school is different and it may not be easy to find exactly what each school needs, but, they can always use the basics! Whatever is on sale right now is usually what they need anyway. Bud’s is happy to announce that we are partnering with the US Marine Corps Reserve and Toys-For-Tots this year. It is our first time working together with this program here at the shop even though most of our team donates personally. Something as simple as a new toy can mean the world to a child and also lead into the choices they make in the future. If no one ever stepped up to help or do one kind a ... read more

We all love fairs right!? Well, at Bud’s we do. We also love supporting positive youth! Dakota, who is a family member of one of our suppliers, presented us with the opportunity to help him out as well as reminding us not to miss out on the 2014 fair fun. He is in his fourth year in a 4-H club called “Critters & Company” and will be showing his market pig Patsy at the Lynden Fair that’s coming up in the next couple weeks. He’s raised Patsy since birth this January and has learned so much about business in the process. While learning about expenses he is seeing how all of the necessities add up. We sent off a donation for Dakota today in hopes that it can help him out in his 2014 fair experience and possibly be an overage that he is able to use towards his next year market project or even his college fund. Just as market pigs have expenses such as feed, immunizations, medical equipment and show equipment our vehicles have expenses such as maintenance, fuel and beautification. As Dak ... read more

Low income parents are often faced with not having enough resources to take care of day to day necessity's that come up like car maintenance.
